Finally, after a long summer break, I have seemed to complete my second photo submission. The first on of the pathway was taken in Coconá Caves in Teapa. It was a great day with the family. I should have brought in my tripod to get some really good long exposure pics. But I was able to snap this one with my on camera flash anyways. I love the old fashion feel of the black and white. The objective was leading lines and this has obvious lines. My teacher seemed happy with this one at least. The next one was the marigolds. This is a wall in my garage here in Mexico. I was really happy with this one but my photographer teacher thinks I still should have cropped in closer. Oh well, I like it the way it is. The Marigolds were everywhere here in Mexico for the Day of the Dead festival. and they matched the wall I was planning on using. Objective was to use framing to emphasize the subject, again obvious use here. But it was the hardest to come up with. When you are looking for an ideal framing devise, they all hide from you view. So I decided to create my own. The last one was to use large size to showcase the subject, this being the mushrooms. These guys keeped growing in my backyard this fall. I liked the way thy lined up when I got on the ground. I was able to snap a few shots until my great dane puppy found me lying on the ground. He thought it was playtime and ran around crushing the mushrooms in his excitement. Well, can't wait to see what I come up with for the next submission.
